James V. Snyder Memorial

"Resolution Run"

WELCOME to our web site!

The James V. Snyder Memorial Fund was started to raise funds in memory of James Snyder.

In September 2007, James V. Snyder lost his life after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Shortly before he died, it was his desire to walk in “Light the Night” which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  His desire was short-lived as he died just weeks before the event.  He will forever be remembered by his friends and family for his willingness to serve others in his community.   For over a decade, James Snyder worked closely with the Westmoreland County Food Bank supporting the organization that feeds those in need.

The James V. Snyder Memorial Fund was initiated to raise funds for two of the organizations that he saw as critical to the community.  Therefore, the proceeds of the James V. Snyder Memorial “Resolution Run” will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Westmoreland County Food Bank.  The participants of the event will choose which organization will receive their entry fee; or if there is no designation, the fee will be split equally between the two organizations.
